Gordon B. Hinckley....

As many of you know so far, a great man has past away. When I heard the news, I was online in an LDS chatroom and I thought it was a joke.....not the first time it's happened before. But anyhow, as the minutes wore on, more and more people we're coming into the chatroom saying it was true. At some point, news websites had articles reguarding his passing. All over the TV in Utah they were breaking the story. Then www.lds.org finally came out with a statement: President Gordon B. Hinckley past away 7pm mst on Sunday January 27, 2008 at the age of 97. At last, he was reunited with his beloved eternal love, Marjorie Pay Hinckley. He will always be remembered for his great love of his wife, the Church and of people. Do the right thing, stand for something, have a little more love and compassion for one another will he be most remembered for, his life stories that always had meaning, his quick wit especially for his age, his cane that he always waved instead of used. He will be missed, but not forgotten, nor never seen again. Someday, we all will be reunited in Heaven again. That will be a joyous occassion, not a sad one. Let's praise the Lord we had him for this amount of time, his work here was finished. It was time for him to go home.
